Company Tax ID and VAT registration

These are the documents to submit in order to get a tax ID for a company and VAT registration:


REQUIRED DOCUMENT IN ORDER TO SUBMIT COMPANY TAX ID.

  1. A copy set of house registration and identification card of the building owner and signature (in case you rent the premise).
  2. A copy set of house registration where the company is situated with the signature of building owner.
  3. A copy set of house registration and identification card of company director with signature.
  4. Photograph of company headquarter
  5. Map of company with certified
  6. Rental agreement(in case you rent the premise)
  7. Company Registration

VAT REGISTRATION

  1. 2 copies sets of house registration and identification card of the building owner with signature (in case you rent the premise)
  2. 2 copies sets of house registration where the company is situated with the signature of building owner.
  3. 2 copies set of house registration and identification card of company director with signature.
  4. Photograph of company headquarter.
  5. 2 copies sets of company map with signature
  6. 2 copies of Rental agreement (in case you rent the premise)

Do note that you might NOT want to register the VAT for your company. If you register it, it means you will start to have to pay it to the government and fill documents about it. Thai Law does accept some exemptions for VAT, like if your business generates incomes under 1.8 million baht.
