Deux parcelles de terrain achet\u00e9es par l'interm\u00e9diaire de l'entreprise \u00e9taient enregistr\u00e9es au seul nom de l'homme, et les deux juridictions inf\u00e9rieures les ont qualifi\u00e9es de biens propres parce qu'elles \u00e9taient ant\u00e9rieures au mariage. Thai law has no common-law marriage (s.1457<\/b>), so an unmarried partner gets no sans sommeil<\/i> presumption and must prove joint acquisition. Here, years of business records did it. For foreigners the extra catch is the Land Code: a foreign partner’s remedy over land is money or a registered usufruct, not a name on the deed.<\/p>\n
