The lower courts threw the whole case out under <b>Article 1562<\/b> of the Civil and Commercial Code, the rule that a child may not sue a parent (the <i>uthalum<\/i> bar). In <b>Dika 625\/2569<\/b> the Supreme Court agreed the daughters could not sue their father or, as his agent, their sister &mdash; but held the bar is <b>personal to the parent&ndash;child relationship<\/b> and does not protect the <b>third-party purchaser<\/b>.
