The Thailand Board of Investment (สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน) is the government agency granting investment promotion privileges to qualifying projects. BOI-promoted companies can benefit from corporate income-tax holidays, exemption or reduction of import duties on machinery and raw materials, permission to own land for business purposes, and relaxed work-permit and visa rules for foreign experts and their families.
