What a Living Will does in Thailand

A living will, also called an advance directive, records which life sustaining treatments you refuse if you reach a terminal or irreversible condition and can no longer speak for yourself. Section 12 of the National Health Act B.E. 2550 (2007) gives everyone in Thailand, foreigners included, the right to make that refusal in writing, and Thai hospitals are required to respect it.
