Power of Attorney

Last updated on April 18, 2026

Written authorisation by a principal (ผู้มอบอำนาจ) empowering an agent (ผู้รับมอบอำนาจ) to act on their behalf, governed by Sections 797–832 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. Thailand recognises general, special and revocable powers. Where the power is used for immovable property transactions, the Land Department requires its own prescribed form (ทด.21) signed before an amphur officer or consular officer.
