All fees are in Thai Baht (THB) and come from one source that is updated in a single place, so what you read here matches what you are quoted. Government disbursements (court filing, Land Office, embassy and consulate fees, certified translations) are charged at cost on top of any firm fee. VAT (7%) is excluded unless stated.

Criminal defence
Criminal work cannot be sold at a flat fee, because the charge and the court decide the workload. These are the ranges from our own past matters, not estimates:
- Bail application: 50,000 to 65,000 THB, varying by location and court
- Full criminal defence: 100,000 THB to 1,000,000 THB and above, depending on the charge and the complexity
- Police-station representation, per visit: quoted on the day
- Appeals and pardons: quoted individually

If you would rather do it yourself
Several of the documents above exist as bilingual templates you can generate yourself from the firm’s own wording, without a lawyer drafting it for you. Silver membership is 1,490 THB a year and includes the template downloads. Gold membership is 5,800 THB a year and includes the Document Maker, which produces ten finished bilingual documents from a guided questionnaire, unlimited for the year. That is less than we charge to draft a single contract.
Government fees, charged at cost
These are not our fees. We pass them through at what the government charges, with the receipt.
- Document legalization at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 200 THB per document, or 400 THB for same-day service
- Certified translation, up to 100 words: 200 THB. Longer documents on quote
- Certificate of Residence, immigration fee: around 200 THB, varying by office
- Trademark registration filing: 100 THB
- Land Office transfer fees and taxes: calculated on the appraised value, quoted before transfer day
How fees are set
- Fixed-fee services can be ordered directly. The price above is the price.
- Everything else starts with a consultation (2,000 THB), so we understand the situation before quoting it.
- A written quote follows within 48 hours: itemised, fixed-fee or tiered.
- An engagement letter is signed before any work begins. No surprises.
- Invoicing in stages tied to deliverables, with a receipt for every payment.
Common questions about our fees
Why is some work a fixed fee and some work quoted?
Because we know exactly how long some work takes. A bilingual will, a usufruct, a lease, a prenuptial agreement: we have drafted hundreds of each, so we publish the price and hold to it. Litigation, criminal defence and probate are different, because the other side, the court and the estate decide the workload, not us. Quoting a flat fee for those would either overcharge the simple cases or leave the hard ones unfinished.
Is the published fee the final fee?
For the fixed-fee services above, yes. The only additions are government disbursements, which are listed separately and passed through at cost with the receipt. You will not receive a bill you did not agree to.
Why are your fees lower than other firms?
Because the documents are already written. We have been drafting for foreign clients in Thailand since 2006, so a will or a lease is not built from scratch each time. We charge for the judgment about your situation, not for retyping. It also means the wording has been tested in real matters rather than invented for yours.
Do you accept retainers?
Yes, for clients with recurring legal needs: corporate, ongoing property, continuing immigration. Monthly retainers are quoted on expected workload.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), bank transfer to our Kasikorn Bank account, and PromptPay for clients in Thailand. Wise transfers are welcome from abroad.
