Parental Consent for a Child to Travel Abroad
Since 3 August 2026, Thai Immigration checks every Thai child under 18 who leaves Thailand: the child needs a passport, a birth certificate and, unless both parents travel, a consent letter from each parent who stays behind, certified by a government office.
