Authority vested in parents by Sections 1566–1584/1 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code to determine the child’s residence, education, religion, discipline, medical care and property. Parental powers must be exercised in the best interests of the child and are subject to review by the Juvenile and Family Court on complaint of the other parent, a relative, or the public prosecutor.
