See Ground. The twelve statutory grounds for a Thai contested divorce are enumerated in Section 1516 of the Civil and Commercial Code and must be pleaded and proved in the Juvenile and Family Court. Only a spouse who is not at fault may rely on the ground; the action must be filed within one year of discovering the cause, except for ongoing misconduct.
