Thai house-registration book (ทะเบียนบ้าน) issued by the amphur for every dwelling. The blue tabien baan lists Thai nationals and permanent residents, while the yellow book records foreigners lawfully resident at the address. The tabien baan is required for identity verification, school enrolment, vehicle registration, and many civil and commercial transactions.
