The watch is over. The Prime Minister’s Office Regulation on Deportation B.E. 2569 was signed on 26 August, published in the Royal Gazette on 27 August and took effect on 28 August 2026. It lists six removal grounds: unlawful entry or stay, unlawful work, unlawful business, forging or using forged official documents, any conviction carrying five years’ imprisonment or more (the Cabinet draft said three), and being a principal, instigator or supporter of any of those.
