อันหุ้นนั้น ท่านว่าจะแบ่งแยกหาได้ไม่ถ้าบุคคลมีจำนวนแต่สองคนขึ้นไปถือหุ้น ๆ เดียวร่วมกัน ท่านว่าต้องตั้งให้คนใดคนหนึ่งในจำนวนนั้นแต่คนเดียวเป็นผู้ใช้สิทธิในฐานเป็นผู้ถือหุ้นอนึ่ง บุคคลทั้งหลายซึ่งถือหุ้น ๆ เดียวร่วมกัน ต้องร่วมกันรับผิดต่อบริษัทในการส่งใช้มูลค่าของหุ้น

English translation
Shares are indivisible. If a share is held by two or more persons in common, they must appoint one of them to exercise their rights as shareholders. Persons holding a share in common are jointly liable to the company for payment of the amount of the share.
