In Dika 7211/2568, a fraud defendant whose punishment the court had suspended (on condition of probation and monthly repayments) stopped paying her court-ordered instalments of 5,000 baht a month, saw the court revoke the suspension and fix a 3-month prison term, and only then paid 80,000 baht in restitution, after which the victim asked to withdraw the complaint. The lower courts dismissed the case; the Supreme Court reinstated the 3-month prison term.
