คู่หมั้นฝ่ายหนึ่งอาจเรียกค่าทดแทนจากผู้ซึ่งได้ข่มขืนกระทำชำเราหรือพยายามข่มขืนกระทำชำเราคู่หมั้นของตนโดยรู้หรือควรจะรู้ถึงการหมั้นนั้นได้โดยไม่จำต้องบอกเลิกสัญญาหมั้น

English translation
One of the betrothed parties may claim compensation from a person who has raped, or attempted to rape, their betrothed, knowing or having reason to know of the betrothal, and need not renounce the betrothal agreement in order to do so.
