การสมรสในต่างประเทศระหว่างคนที่มีสัญชาติไทยด้วยกัน หรือฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งมีสัญชาติไทย จะทำตามแบบที่กำหนดไว้ตามกฎหมายไทยหรือกฎหมายแห่งประเทศนั้นก็ได้ในกรณีที่คู่สมรสประสงค์จะจดทะเบียนตามกฎหมายไทย ให้พนักงานทูตหรือกงสุลไทยเป็นผู้รับจดทะเบียน

English translation
A marriage in foreign country between Thai people or between a Thai people and a foreigner may be effected according to the form prescribed by Thai law or by the law of the country where it takes place. If the spouses desire to have the marriage registered according to Thai law, the registration shall be effected by a feedback (/form/1-samuiforsale-contact-form.html?tmpl=component) / Thai Diplomatic or Consular Officer.
