ท่านห้ามมิให้ฟ้องคดีดังจะกล่าวต่อไปนี้ เมื่อพ้นหกเดือนนับแต่วันส่งคืน หรือขายทอดตลาดทรัพย์สินจำนำ คือ(๑) ฟ้องเรียกค่าสินไหมทดแทนเพื่อความบุบสลายอันผู้รับจำนำก่อให้เกิดแก่ทรัพย์สินจำนำ(๒) ฟ้องเรียกให้ชดใช้ค่าใช้จ่ายเพื่อการบำรุงรักษาทรัพย์สินจำนำ(๓) ฟ้องเรียกค่าสินไหมทดแทนเพื่อความเสียหายอันเกิดแก่ผู้รับจำนำ เพราะความชำรุดบกพร่องในทรัพย์สินจำนำซึ่งไม่เห็นประจักษ์

English translation
The following actions cannot be entered later than six months after the return or sale by auction of the pledged property: (1) An action for compensation for damage caused to the pleged property by the pledge. (2) An action for reimbursement of expenses incurred for the preservation or maintenance of the pledged property. (3) An action for compensation for injury caused to the pledge by non-apparent defects in the pledged property.
