ในกรณีที่จำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณในเอกสารแสดงไว้ทั้งตัวอักษรและตัวเลข ถ้าตัวอักษรกับตัวเลขไม่ตรงกัน และมิอาจหยั่งทราบเจตนาอันแท้จริงได้ ให้ถือเอาจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณที่เป็นตัวอักษรเป็นประมาณ

English translation
Whenever a sum or quantity is expresses in letters and in figures, and the two expressions do not agree, and the real intention cannot be ascertained, the expressin in letters shall be held good.
