ถ้าจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณในเอกสารแสดงไว้เป็นตัวอักษรหลายแห่งหรือเป็นตัวเลขหลายแห่ง แต่ที่แสดงไว้หลายแห่งนั้นไม่ตรงกัน และมิอาจหยั่งทราบเจตนาอันแท้จริงได้ ให้ถือเอาจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณน้อยที่สุดเป็นประมาณ

English translation
Whenever a sum or quantity is expressed several times in letters or several times in figures, and the several expressions do not agree, and the real intention cannot be ascertained, the lowest expression shall be held good.
