ถ้าจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณในเอกสารแสดงไว้เป็นตัวอักษรหลายแห่งหรือเป็นตัวเลขหลายแห่ง แต่ที่แสดงไว้หลายแห่งนั้นไม่ตรงกัน และมิอาจหยั่งทราบเจตนาอันแท้จริงได้ ให้ถือเอาจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณน้อยที่สุดเป็นประมาณ
