แห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ซึ่งใช้บังคับอยู่ก่อนวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ ให้ยังคงใช้ได้ต่อไปเท่าที่ไม่ขัดหรือแย้งกับบทบัญญัติแห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ที่ได้ตรวจชำระใหม่ท้ายพระราชบัญญัตินี้

English translation
The provisions of the Civil and Commercial Code in force before the date this Act comes into force continue to apply so far as they are not contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of the revised Civil and Commercial Code annexed to this Act.
