มูลนิธิย่อมเลิกด้วยเหตุหนึ่งเหตุใด ดังต่อไปนี้(๑) เมื่อมีเหตุตามที่กำหนดในข้อบังคับ (๒) ถ้ามูลนิธิตั้งขึ้นไว้เฉพาะระยะเวลาใด เมื่อสิ้นระยะเวลานั้น (๓) ถ้ามูลนิธิตั้งขึ้นเพื่อวัตถุประสงค์อย่างใด และได้ดำเนินการตามวัตถุประสงค์สำเร็จบริบูรณ์แล้ว หรือวัตถุประสงค์นั้นกลายเป็นพ้นวิสัย (๔) เมื่อมูลนิธินั้นล้มละลาย (๕) เมื่อศาลมีคำสั่งให้เลิกมูลนิธิตามมาตรา ๑๓๑

English translation
A foundation is dissolved; 1. Upon such cause as provided in the regulations, or 2. If formed for definite period of time, by the expiration of such period, or 3. If formed for any object, upon its object being fulfilled or becoming impossible, or 4. Upon the foundation becoming bankrupt, or 5. By an order of the court to dissolve the foundation under Section 131.
