ขณะคดีฟ้องหย่าอยู่ในระหว่างพิจารณา ถ้าฝ่ายใดร้องขอ ศาลอาจสั่งชั่วคราวให้จัดการตามที่เห็นสมควร เช่น ในเรื่องสินสมรส ที่พักอาศัย การอุปการะเลี้ยงดูคู่สมรส และการพิทักษ์อุปการะเลี้ยงดูบุตร

English translation
While a divorce action is pending, the court may, on the application of either party, make such temporary orders as it thinks fit, for example as to the marital property, the place of residence, the maintenance of a spouse, and the custody and maintenance of the children.
