ถ้าความปกครองหรือความเป็นผู้ปกครองสิ้นสุดลง ให้ผู้ปกครองหรือทายาทรีบส่งมอบทรัพย์สินที่จัดการแก่ผู้อยู่ในปกครอง หรือทายาทหรือผู้ปกครองคนใหม่ และให้ทำบัญชีในการจัดการทรัพย์สินส่งมอบภายในเวลาหกเดือน และถ้ามีเอกสารเกี่ยวกับเรื่องจัดการทรัพย์สินนั้นก็ให้ส่งมอบพร้อมกับบัญชี แต่เมื่อผู้ปกครองหรือทายาทร้องขอศาลจะสั่งให้ยืดเวลาก็ได้ให้นำ

English translation
