ผู้อยู่ในปกครองมีบุริมสิทธิเหนือทรัพย์สินทั้งหมดของผู้ปกครองเพื่อชำระหนี้ซึ่งค้างอยู่แก่ตน บุริมสิทธินี้ให้อยู่ในลำดับที่หกถัดจากบุริมสิทธิสามัญอย่างอื่นตามมาตรา ๒๕๓ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายนี้

English translation
The ward has preferential right over the whole property of the guardian for the performance of the obligation due to him. This preferential right shall rank as (6) after the other general preferential rights specified in Section 253 of this Code.
