ในกรณีที่ศาลสั่งให้คู่สมรสฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งเป็นคนไร้ความสามารถ และคู่สมรสอีกฝ่ายเป็นผู้อนุบาล ให้นำบทบัญญัติว่าด้วยสิทธิและหน้าที่ของผู้ใช้อำนาจปกครองมาใช้บังคับโดยอนุโลม เว้นแต่สิทธิตามมาตรา ๑๕๖๗ (๒) และ (๓)

English translation
Where the court adjudges one spouse incompetent and the other spouse is the guardian, the provisions on the rights and duties of a person exercising parental power apply mutatis mutandis, except the rights under Section 1567 (2) and (3).
