ถ้ามีทายาทหลายคน ทายาทเหล่านั้นมีสิทธิและหน้าที่เกี่ยวกับทรัพย์มรดกร่วมกันจนกว่าจะได้แบ่งมรดกกันเสร็จแล้ว และให้ใช้มาตรา ๑๓๕๖ ถึงมาตรา ๑๓๖๖ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายนี้บังคับ เพียงเท่าที่ไม่ขัดกับบทบัญญัติแห่งบรรพนี้

English translation
Where there are several heirs, they have rights and duties in the estate in common until the estate has been divided, and Sections 1356 to 1366 of this Code apply so far as they are not contrary to the provisions of this Book.
