ถ้ากำหนดระยะเวลาเป็นสัปดาห์ เดือนหรือปี ให้คำนวณตามปีปฏิทินถ้าระยะเวลามิได้กำหนดนับแต่วันต้นแห่งสัปดาห์ วันต้นแห่งเดือนหรือปี ระยะเวลาย่อมสิ้นสุดลงในวันก่อนหน้าจะถึงวันแห่งสัปดาห์ เดือนหรือปีสุดท้ายอันเป็นวันตรงกับวันเริ่มระยะเวลานั้น ถ้าในระยะเวลานับเป็นเดือนหรือปีนั้นไม่มีวันตรงกันในเดือนสุดท้าย ให้ถือเอาวันสุดท้ายแห่งเดือนนั้นเป็นวันสิ้นสุดระยะเวลา

English translation
The period determined in weeks, months or year are calculated according to the calendar. If the period is not computed from the beginning of a week, month or year , it ends on the day preceding that day of the last week, month or year which corresponds to that on which it began. If a period measured in months or years there is no corresponding day in the last month, the last day of such month shall be the day of ending.
