ถ้าผู้สู้ราคาสูงสุดละเลยเสียไม่ใช้ราคาไซร้ ท่านให้ผู้ทอดตลาดเอาทรัพย์สินนั้นออกขายอีกซ้ำหนึ่ง ถ้าและได้เงินเป็นจำนวนสุทธิไม่คุ้มราคาและค่าขายทอดตลาดชั้นเดิม ผู้สู้ราคาเดิมคนนั้นต้องรับผิดในส่วนที่ขาด

English translation
If the highest bidder fails to pay the price, the auctioneer shall put the property up for auction again, and if the net proceeds do not cover the price and the costs of the first auction, the defaulting bidder is liable for the deficiency.
