English translation
So long as the goods remain in the carrier's hands, the consignor, or the holder of the bill of lading where one has been made, may require the carrier to stop the carriage, to return the goods, or to deal with them otherwise.
In that event the carrier is entitled to the freight in proportion to the distance already covered, together with the other expenses incurred by reason of the stoppage, the return of the goods, or the other disposal.
