เมื่อใดผู้ฝากสลักหลังประทวนสินค้าให้แก่ผู้รับจำนำ คู่สัญญาต้องจดแจ้งการที่สลักหลังนั้นลงไว้ในใบรับของคลังสินค้าด้วยถ้ามิได้จดแจ้งไว้ดังนั้น ท่านว่าการจำนำนั้นหาอาจยกขึ้นเป็นข้อต่อสู้ผู้ซื้อสินค้าสืบไปนั้นได้ไม่
