ผู้ทรงเอกสารอันมีทั้งใบรับของคลังสินค้าและประทวนสินค้านั้น จะให้นายคลังสินค้าแยกสินค้าที่เก็บรักษาไว้ออกเป็นหลายส่วนและให้ส่งมอบเอกสารแก่ตนส่วนละใบก็ได้ ในกรณีเช่นนี้ผู้ทรงเอกสารต้องคืนเอกสารเดิมแก่นายคลังสินค้าอนึ่ง ค่าใช้จ่ายในการแยกสินค้าและการส่งมอบเอกสารใหม่นั้น ผู้ทรงเอกสารต้องรับใช้

English translation
The holder of both the warehouse receipt and the warrant may require the warehouseman to divide the goods stored into several parts and to deliver to him a separate set of documents for each part. In such case the holder must return the original documents to the warehouseman. The expenses of dividing the goods and of issuing the new documents are borne by the holder.
