Section 318 addresses recurring claims within Part 4 on the attachment of claims. Where the judgment debtor is entitled to be paid in installments, such as a salary, rent, or other periodic income, a single attachment reaches not only what is due when the order is made but also the installments that become due afterward. This spares the creditor from having to renew the attachment for each period. It builds on the basic attachment mechanism in Section 316 and was renumbered by the Civil Procedure Code Amendment Act (No. 30) B.E. 2560 (2017).

This is why a salary attachment keeps biting month after month: one order captures the ongoing stream of installments as they fall due, so the creditor does not file again each payday.
