ภายใต้บังคับแห่งบทบัญญัติทั้งหลายในประมวลกฎหมายนี้ซึ่งว่าด้วยการจับและค้น เจ้าพนักงานผู้จัดการตามหมายนั้นต้องแจ้งข้อความในหมายให้แก่ผู้เกี่ยวข้องทราบ และถ้ามีคำขอร้อง ให้ส่งหมายนั้นให้เขาตรวจดูการแจ้งข้อความในหมาย การส่งหมายให้ตรวจดูและวันเดือนปีที่จัดการเช่นนั้นให้บันทึกไว้ในหมายนั้น
English translation
Subject to all the provisions of this Code concerning arrest and search, the official who executes the warrant must inform the person concerned of the contents of the warrant, and, if requested, must present the warrant to him for examination. The informing of the contents of the warrant, the presentation of the warrant for examination, and the date on which this was done shall be recorded in the warrant.

This provision, in the general part on warrants, guarantees that the person affected is told the contents of the warrant and, on request, allowed to inspect it, subject to the specific rules governing arrest and search elsewhere in the Code. Requiring these steps and the date to be recorded on the warrant creates a contemporaneous record that the person was properly informed. This supports both transparency at the point of execution and later verification if the manner of execution is disputed. It follows naturally from Section 60, which fixes the contents of the warrant, and precedes Sections 63 and 64 on recording and returning the executed warrant.
