Assisted reproductive technology regulated by the Protection of Children Born from Assisted Reproductive Technologies Act B.E. 2558 (2015). In Thailand IVF is lawful for married couples, subject to licensing of the clinic by the Medical Council of Thailand. Commercial surrogacy is prohibited and the legal parents are the wife who gives birth and her husband, regardless of genetic link.
