งบดุลนั้นต้องจัดให้มีผู้สอบบัญชีคนหนึ่งหรือหลายคนตรวจสอบแล้วนำเสนอเพื่ออนุมัติในที่ประชุมใหญ่ภายในสี่เดือนนับแต่วันที่ลงในงบดุลนั้นอนึ่ง ให้ส่งสำเนางบดุลไปยังบุคคลทุกคนบรรดามีชื่อในทะเบียนผู้ถือหุ้นของบริษัทแต่ก่อนวันนัดประชุมใหญ่ล่วงหน้าไม่น้อยกว่าสามวันนอกจากนั้นให้มีสำเนางบดุลเปิดเผยไว้ในสำนักงานของบริษัทในระหว่างเวลาเช่นว่านั้น เพื่อให้ผู้ทรงใบหุ้นชนิดออกให้แก่ผู้ถือนั้นตรวจดูได้ด้วย

English translation
The balance-sheet must be examined by one or more auditors and submitted for adoption to a general meeting within four months after its date. A copy of it must be sent to every person entered in the register of shareholders at least three days before the general meeting. Copies must also be kept open at the offices of the company during the same period for inspection by the holders of certificates to bearer.
