ผู้เก็บได้ซึ่งทรัพย์สินหาย อาจเรียกร้องเอารางวัลจากบุคคลผู้มีสิทธิจะรับทรัพย์สินนั้นเป็นจำนวนร้อยละสิบแห่งค่าทรัพย์สินภายในราคาสามหมื่นบาทและถ้าราคาสูงกว่านั้นขึ้นไปให้คิดให้อีกร้อยละห้าในจำนวนที่เพิ่มขึ้น แต่ถ้าผู้เก็บได้ซึ่งทรัพย์สินหายได้ส่งมอบทรัพย์สินแก่เจ้าพนักงานตำรวจหรือพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่อื่น ให้เสียเงินอีกร้อยละสองครึ่งแห่งค่าทรัพย์สินเป็นค่าธรรมเนียมแก่ทบวงการนั้น ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นเป็นส่วนหนึ่งต่างหากจากรางวัลซึ่งให้แก่ผู้เก็บได้แต่ค่าธรรมเนียมนี้ให้จำกัดไว้ไม่เกินหนึ่งพันบาท[123] ถ้าผู้เก็บได้ซึ่งทรัพย์สินหายมิได้ปฏิบัติตามบทบัญญัติในมาตราก่อนไซร้ ท่านว่าผู้นั้นไม่มีสิทธิจะรับรางวัล

English translation
A finder of lost property may claim from the person entitled to receive it a reward of ten per cent of the value of the property up to thirty thousand baht, and five per cent on the additional value. However, if he delivers the property to the police or other competent official, two and a feedback (/form/1-samuiforsale-contact-form.html?tmpl=component) / half per cent of the value of the property shall, in addition to the reward, be paid as a fee to the Government service concerned, but, in no case, shall such fee exceed one thousand baht. The finder is not entitled to any reward if he does not comply with the provisions of the foregoing section.
