บุคคลผู้ได้รับทรัพย์สินไว้โดยสุจริตย่อมจะได้ดอกผลอันเกิดแต่ทรัพย์สินนั้นตลอดเวลาที่ยังคงสุจริตอยู่ถ้าผู้ที่ได้รับไว้จะต้องคืนทรัพย์สินนั้นเมื่อใด ให้ถือว่าผู้นั้นตกอยู่ในฐานะทุจริตจำเดิมแต่เวลาที่เรียกคืนนั้น

English translation
A person who has received the property in good faith acquires the fruits thereon as long as such good faith continues. In case where he has to return such thing, he is deemed to be in bad faith from the time when restitution is demanded.
