ค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งหลายอันควรแก่การเพื่อรักษา บำรุงหรือซ่อมแซมทรัพย์สินนั้น ท่านว่าต้องชดใช้แก่บุคคลผู้คืนทรัพย์สินนั้นเต็มจำนวนแต่บุคคลเช่นว่านี้จะเรียกร้องให้ชดใช้ค่าใช้จ่ายตามธรรมดาเพื่อบำรุง ซ่อมแซมทรัพย์สินนั้น หรือค่าภาระติดพันที่ต้องเสียไปในระหว่างที่ตนคงเก็บดอกผลอยู่นั้นหาได้ไม่

English translation
Expenses which were necessary for the preservation of the property or for its maintenance or repair must be reimbursed in full to the person who returns such property.
