ตั๋ว ใบรับ หรือเอกสารอื่นทำนองเช่นว่านี้อันผู้ขนส่งได้ส่งมอบแก่คนโดยสารนั้น หากมีข้อความยกเว้นหรือจำกัดความรับผิดของผู้ขนส่งอย่างใด ๆ ท่านว่าข้อความนั้นเป็นโมฆะ เว้นแต่คนโดยสารจะได้ตกลงด้วยชัดแจ้งในการยกเว้นหรือจำกัดความรับผิดเช่นนั้น
