ถ้ามีคำแจ้งความปิดไว้ในโรงแรม โฮเต็ล หรือสถานที่อื่นทำนองเช่นว่านี้ เป็นข้อความยกเว้นหรือจำกัดความรับผิดของเจ้าสำนักไซร้ ท่านว่าความนั้นเป็นโมฆะ เว้นแต่คนเดินทางหรือแขกอาศัยจะได้ตกลงด้วยชัดแจ้งในการยกเว้นหรือจำกัดความรับผิดดังว่านั้น

English translation
Where a notice is posted in the hotel, inn or similar establishment excluding or limiting the liability of the keeper, that notice is void, unless the traveller or guest has expressly agreed to the exclusion or limitation.
