ทรัพย์สินซึ่งมิได้นำฝากบอกราคาชัดแจ้งนั้น เมื่อพบเห็นว่าสูญหายหรือบุบสลายขึ้น คนเดินทางหรือแขกอาศัยต้องแจ้งความนั้นต่อเจ้าสำนักโรงแรม โฮเต็ล หรือสถานที่เช่นนั้นทันที มิฉะนั้นท่านว่าเจ้าสำนักย่อมพ้นจากความรับผิดดังบัญญัติไว้ในมาตรา ๖๗๔ และ ๖๗๕

English translation
Where property has not been deposited with a declaration of its value, the traveller or guest must notify the keeper of the hotel, inn or similar establishment immediately on discovering the loss or damage; otherwise the keeper is released from the liability provided in Sections 674 and 675.
