Thai authorities have dramatically intensified their pursuit of business crimes, particularly targeting nominee structures used to circumvent foreign ownership restrictions. From September 2024 to May 2025, enforcement agencies handled 861 nominee business cases. These cases caused economic damages over 15.3 billion baht.
