ค่าใช้จ่ายใด ๆ อันควรแก่การบำรุงรักษาทรัพย์สินจำนำนั้น ผู้จำนำจำต้องชดใช้ให้แก่ผู้รับจำนำ เว้นแต่จะได้กำหนดไว้เป็นอย่างอื่นในสัญญา

English translation
The pledgor is bound to reimburse the pledgee for any expenses which were necessary for the preservation or maintenance of the pledged property unless otherwise provided in the contract.
