ถ้าคู่ฉีกสองฉบับหรือกว่านั้นในสำรับหนึ่ง ได้เปลี่ยนมือไปยังผู้ทรงโดยชอบด้วยกฎหมายต่างคนกันไซร้ ในระหว่างผู้ทรงเหล่านั้นด้วยกัน คนใดได้ไปเป็นสิทธิก่อน ท่านให้ถือว่าคนนั้นเป็นเจ้าของอันแท้จริงแห่งตั๋วเงินนั้น แต่ความใด ๆ ในบทมาตรานี้ไม่กระทบกระทั่งถึงสิทธิของบุคคลผู้ทำการโดยชอบด้วยกฎหมายรับรองหรือใช้เงินไปตามคู่ฉีกฉบับซึ่งเขายื่นแก่ตนก่อน

English translation
Where two or more parts of a set have passed to different lawful holders, the holder who first acquired title is deemed to be the true owner of the bill as between them. Nothing in this Section affects the rights of a person who in good faith accepts or pays the part first presented to him.
