Ground (for Divorce)

A legal basis recognised by Section 1516 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code entitling a spouse to petition for divorce. The twelve statutory grounds include adultery, misconduct causing serious harm, desertion for more than one year, imprisonment for more than one year, separation for more than three years, insanity, breach of bond of good behaviour, incurable communicable disease, and physical incapacity precluding cohabitation.
