ในคดีที่ผู้ทรงตั๋วเงินฟ้องผู้สลักหลังและผู้สั่งจ่าย ท่านห้ามมิให้ฟ้องเมื่อพ้นเวลาปีหนึ่งนับแต่วันที่ได้ลงในคำคัดค้านซึ่งได้ทำขึ้นภายในเวลาอันถูกต้องตามกำหนด หรือนับแต่วันตั๋วเงินถึงกำหนด ในกรณีที่มีข้อกำหนดไว้ว่า “ไม่จำต้องมีคำคัดค้าน”
