ถ้าได้ทำสัญญาประกันภัยเป็นสองรายหรือกว่านั้นพร้อมกันก็ดี หรือสืบเนื่องเป็นลำดับกันก็ดี ท่านว่าการที่ยอมสละสิทธิอันมีต่อผู้รับประกันภัยรายหนึ่งนั้น ไม่กระทบกระทั่งถึงสิทธิและหน้าที่ของผู้รับประกันภัยรายอื่น ๆ
