อันตั๋วแลกเงินนั้น ต้องมีรายการดังกล่าวต่อไปนี้ คือ(๑) คำบอกชื่อว่าเป็นตั๋วแลกเงิน(๒) คำสั่งอันปราศจากเงื่อนไขให้จ่ายเงินเป็นจำนวนแน่นอน(๓) ชื่อ หรือยี่ห้อผู้จ่าย(๔) วันถึงกำหนดใช้เงิน(๕) สถานที่ใช้เงิน(๖) ชื่อ หรือยี่ห้อผู้รับเงิน หรือคำจดแจ้งว่าให้ใช้เงินแก่ผู้ถือ(๗) วันและสถานที่ออกตั๋วเงิน(๘) ลายมือชื่อผู้สั่งจ่าย

English translation
A bill of exchange must contain the following particulars: (1) the term "bill of exchange"; (2) an unconditional order to pay a certain sum of money; (3) the name or business name of the drawee; (4) the date of maturity; (5) the place of payment; (6) the name or business name of the payee, or a statement that it is payable to bearer; (7) the date and place of issue of the bill; (8) the signature of the drawer.
