การรับรองด้วยสอดเข้าแก้หน้า ย่อมมีได้ในบรรดากรณีซึ่งผู้ทรงมีสิทธิไล่เบี้ยได้ก่อนถึงกำหนดตามตั๋วเงินอันเป็นตั๋วสามารถจะรับรองได้ การรับรองด้วยสอดเข้าแก้หน้านั้น ผู้ทรงจะบอกปัดเสียก็ได้ แม้ถึงว่าบุคคลผู้ซึ่งบ่งไว้ว่าจะเป็นผู้รับรอง หรือใช้เงินยามประสงค์นั้นจะเป็นผู้เสนอเข้ารับรองก็บอกปัดได้ ถ้าผู้ทรงยอมให้เข้ารับรองแล้ว ผู้ทรงย่อมเสียสิทธิไล่เบี้ยก่อนถึงกำหนดเอาแก่คู่สัญญาทั้งหลายซึ่งต้องรับผิดต่อตน

English translation
Acceptance by intervention may take place in all cases where the holder has a right of recourse before maturity on a bill capable of acceptance. The holder may refuse acceptance by intervention, even where the person named as acceptor or payer in case of need offers to accept. If the holder allows acceptance by intervention, he loses his right of recourse before maturity against the parties liable to him.
